Industrialization of the Robot
The mechanical base of the robot and the different modules (the
arm, the line tracker) require different materials and processes . As a
result, these elements provide many themes of study in
terms of the industrialization of parts :
- Plastic injection mould
- Progressive cutting tool
- Digitally - controlled machining
In every case , you have to set up an approach that takes into
account the technics as well as the tools : CAD, computer
numerical controlled (CNC) machining, EDM Machining (Electrical
Discharge Machining) ….. The aim is to achieve the design and
the execution of a set of tools as well as its technical file :
process study, costing, qualification .
